Reviews of the Book Becoming by Michelle Obama

Becoming, by Michelle Obama is the first memoir of the First Lady of The United states of America (FLOTUS). Published in the year 2018, the volume received many awards including The Grammy'southward award for Best Spoken Word Album. The volume is very well written, with flow of her story- equally a lilliputian girl, her close human relationship with her brother, the silent struggle of her father fighting a affliction, her female parent's perfect and calm demeanor in all situations, and the her journey of following her ambitions, how she met the President Barrack Obama and their ultimate journey of being the very first family of colour ever to reach the White House, allow alone hold the position for two terms. Michelle's story is an inspiration for whatsoever female person peculiarly, who have difficulties, and face the differences of being a daughter/woman, in any field or phase of life. I personally tin relate to her methods of coping with such situations, and hence this book is quite shut to my heart. The fact that she was a very hardworking student, and with constant support of her family, she accomplished all her dreams, past kickoff studying difficult to get into the best schools, and and so later to graduate from prestigious institutions like Harvard and Princeton Academy. she continuously works on herself in all phases of life, as a girl, as a sister, a married woman, a female parent and eventually as the First Lady of America.
The book covers many themes, such equally the racial differences, how she was targeted during the election campaigns, how the abiding heart of media can be very negative, but equally her methods have always been so unlike, she used this continuous eye to the her purpose- by bringing the attending of people to the things that mattered, like education of girls, the racial bias for children of colour, their schooling, proper facilitation of schools and hospitals, and of course, the garden that she started in the White House's lawns, to promote in-house gardening because the vegetables and fruits grown are healthier for the children, than the store bought frozen and fix to serve food commodities which were causing bug like obesity. Likewise, she has also talked about the kind of difficulties she faced in the parenting of her girls, to ensure they stay humble, generous, strong and independent, to ensure that the constant centre of the media doesn't mess up with their individuality, and then that they grow upwardly to go successful in their lives and the status of their parents does not come up in the style of that.
I institute towards the end of the book, that the period became a bit distorted, but its understandable that Mrs Obama found it important to share her side of the story, how the news reports, the rumors coming from one side of the story, (hither the media) can be then dissimilar from what the actual version, for the example the incident with Queen Elizabeth, where she was asked to sit beside with the Queen past herself, and the media houses brought her to the scrutiny of not knowing how to exist with the Queen, when actually, the Queen and Michelle Obama share a very sweetness friendship as she later clarifies in the book.
A very insightful quote of the volume - "If you're willing to exist a educatee for life, the possibilities are endless."
One very memorable incident from the book which I recall shows how truly, she was defended to teach her daughters individuality and self worth is from the times when Mr Obama used to be very busy with his elections campaigns and used to come home late and she used to keep her girls awake past their bedtime so that they could come across him and and so go to sleep which became a blueprint because he was always late, this caused her feet. Subsequently some counselling and sessions, she changed the whole night routine and stopped making her girls wake upwards past their routine and she says this adept helped in fulfilling her wish for them to abound upwardly strong and centered and unaccommodating to any class of old schoolhouse patriarchy. And this helped curb off her frustration likewise.
"I didn't want them to ever believe that life began where the man of the firm arrived home. We didn't wait for dad. It was his job now to catch up with united states."
The book is a beautiful journey of a woman, who achieved bang-up heights, and clearly gives perspective to our minds where at to the lowest degree for me, she was just the Wife of the President Barrack Obama, and now I know that she is so much more than than that, how big a function she played in the making of the President, and how well she still handled her all her roles.
I thank Mrs Michelle Obama for sharing her life story with us.
